Yummy sandwiches a bit on the expensive side, but one sandwich is really two sandwiches as they ate quite bid. Quality ingredients...The Beast is our favorite

Came for lunch and ordered their special and Saint Francis. The portions are huge and I could've just shared with the hubby. We also grabbed a chipotle pasta side it had a good kick. Will definitely come back to try other sandwiches. I'd recommend if you can eat it there or shortly after getting it because they do get soggy but still yummy sandwiches

Excellent vegetarian sandwiches-- one even offers vegan prosciutto and salami! Quality breads and interesting toppings/ condiments as well. I have only done takeout although there are cute seating areas inside and out.

Good spot. Feels like old school Bay Area. Inventive menu. Prices are Bay Area. Got the vegan sandwich it's big enough for 2 people easily. It wasn't my jam, but I've been lifelong vegetarian so fake cold cuts wasn't for me I found out. You can craft your own creation though and I'll be back to try again.

Wait, have I not reviewed their sandwiches? I've tried their veg special of the day which was delish and full of a variety of veggies and avocado. Big for me - so ate it over 2 meals (I find bread really filling). I love that they make satisfying sandos that give full consideration for flavors and textures and understand vegetarians are not rabbits nor on a deprivation diet. Appreciate that.

Nut allergy friendly - I put a note on GrubHub and everything turned out fine. Review is for take-out via GrubHub, which estimated a 30 minute wait on a Sunday afternoon. It seemed accurate and my order was ready when I arrived. I ordered "The Bay" as it was highlighted as a popular option. It is exactly as described with turkey, roast beef, yellow cheddar, and vegetables in a sesame roll. The meat was sliced thin and it was a pretty hefty sandwich. I'd say it's more expensive than I would normally pay for a sandwich and as a deli the portions are interestingly right between "not enough" and "too much." I split the sandwich with a friend for lunch and I could've eaten more afterwards, but I don't think I could've finished another half of a sandwich. Maybe with some chips or a drink it would have been perfect. Anyway, don't be afraid of the price tag as the sandwich could easily be two portions!

Sandwich savants. Sandwich engineers. Sandwich Saints. Today I ordered the special, so I am deeply sorry if you do not get a chance to experience this flavor due to rotational specials, but, it is an inspirational sando which deserves to be talked about. You deserve to know. Credit is due here. The special: Pork butt, thick melted cheddar, Acme focaccia, arugula, some kind of tangy, sweet BBQ sauce coating slices of pickled, spicy pepper. Good lord. My spouse and I split this in silence, uttering the occasional "oh my god", and "wow". The pork was sliced so thin, like sheets of tender smoky deliciousness. The bread was slightly toasted to melt the thick slices of cheddar to it, so there was a delightful crispy cronch of light, well oiled focaccia. Here's the engineering: the bottom layer of bread was just slightly wider than the top, which meant biting into the sando didn't result in sando insides falling out, spilling everywhere, requiring cleanup with your phalanges at the end of your experience-- it STAYS ON. THE FILLING STAYS IN. True sub engineering, absolutely inspirational. My only question is: is there a listserv? Will this special be back?! Thank you, Sandwich Saints.

So glad this place popped up not long after I moved into the area. Having a good deli near by is a treat, and I'm a sucker for an Italian combo, which they do very well. Their weekly specials are usually on point, and service is always very friendly. If you dine in, you can even pair your sandwich with a local beer or glass of wine. I might even have to stop by today!

My wife and I stopped the Saint Sandwich Shop by on a Thursday afternoon around noon to pick-up a sandwich to-go and the restaurant was empty except for somebody dining in and a Door-dasher waiting to pick-up an order. The menu here is pretty extensive in terms of specialty sandwiches but we ultimately opted to share The Saint -- salami, ham, provolone, lettuce, sweet peppers, banana peppers, pickled onions, hot pepper & olive spread, garlic aioli, all on a sesame roll. The sandwich is stacked! Make sure you grab a few napkins at the counter before heading off with your to-go order because the sandwiches are quite messy to eat. I wouldn't wait too long to eat the sandwich either, as the dressing can make the bread soggy pretty quickly. The sandwich itself is perfectly balanced with its ratio of meats, cheese, and sauces. Every bite feels like you're discovering something new. If you're looking for a light lunch, sharing a whole sandwich along with a side of potato salad or macaroni salad is more than enough. I am definitely stopping by again to try some of their other sandwiches.

This is a great addition to this block which basically doesn't have much in terms of shops or food. Cool sandwich shop with cool people. They have a few sandwiches that they crank out. Hey, why change what you do well right? Got their Bird sandwich which is basically turkey with avocado and some fixings ans found it to be tasty. The smell of the sandwiches from outside is mouthwatering, by the way!
